I will work towards the achievement of graduate rights: Rajasekhar
Perabattula Rajasekhar wins the MLC election in the joint Godavari districts, securing a victory with a margin of 71,063 votes. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu commits to achieving graduate rights and ensuring employment opportunities for all.

Amaravati: The coalition has achieved another victory in the MLC elections. In the joint Godavari district graduate MLC elections, coalition candidate Perabattula Rajasekhar emerged victorious. By 12 PM on Tuesday, after the completion of the 7th round of counting, Rajasekhar secured the required number of votes (51%) for victory. As a result, officials declared him the winner even before the final round of counting. The election officer and Eluru district collector presented him with the certificate of victory.
By the completion of the seven rounds, Perabattula Rajasekhar had accumulated a total of 1,12,331 votes, while his opponent, Didla Veera Raghavulu, secured 41,268 votes. Rajasekhar won with a margin of 71,063 votes. As of the completion of the seven rounds, the total vote count reached 1,96,000, of which 1,78,422 votes were valid, and 17,578 votes were invalid. Approximately 22,000 votes remain to be counted. Rajasekhar expressed his happiness at achieving such a great victory as the coalition candidate.
In this regard, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu thanked the graduate voters from the two districts. He expressed his commitment to working for the achievement of graduate rights. He pointed out that the previous government had handled the issue of unemployed youth thoughtlessly. During the past 8 months, the state has attracted significant investments. After taking the oath as Chief Minister, Chandrababu’s first signature was on the DSC file. He assured that as soon as the election process is completed, the DSC notification will be issued. He pledged to work towards ensuring that there are no unemployed youth in the state and that everyone will have employment opportunities.
