Telangana is set to host the Miss World 2025 pageant, which will be the 72nd edition of the beauty pageant. The competition will run for a month from May 7 to May 31 and will be held at various venues in the state, culminating in Hyderabad. The state government will spend around Rs 200 crore for the event, which has been criticised from various quarters for its double policy, especially after a case was filed against the previous BRS government for spending Rs 46 crore to host a Formula-E race in Hyderabad.
