The sanctuary, located within the 3,000-acre Reliance Refinery complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat, spans an area of 25,000 square feet dedicated specifically to elephant care. It is the largest such facility in the world, housing nearly 2,000 wild animals. Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, along with his family, welcomed Prime Minister Modi to the center. Later, the Prime Minister toured the entire Vantala facility with Anant Ambani. Thousands of employees work at this wildlife rehabilitation center, helping to care for and preserve these animals.
