Who is conspiring against Adani?
The article discusses the recent developments surrounding Adani Group and Gautam Adani, including allegations of financial attacks and the involvement of American Chinese investors. It explores the global dynamics at play, particularly the influence of China and America, and the rising prominence of Adani in the global industrial market.
The recent exposure of the American Chinese investor/Chinese espionage group Hindenburg, hired to launch a financial attack on Indian industrial giant and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, and the allegations made by senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani regarding Chinese involvement, have turned the Adani affair into a spy thriller. These developments have raised several questions. Why is one of the world's most powerful countries carrying out such attacks on an Indian business and industrial giant like Adani? Why is America supporting Adani against China? These questions have arisen. Recently, the U.S. Ambassador to India visited Adani's Mundra and Khavda sites in Gujarat and did not hesitate to post information about it on social media. Through this, the ambassador seemingly sent signals of support for Adani from America.
In November 2023, the U.S. government-backed DFC organization, which had provided financial assistance to the Adani-owned Colombo Port project, dismissed the Hindenburg report as baseless. It firmly rejected the report. This development caused Adani's stock value to soar in the domestic market. After China, Adani made a strong footprint in this field. It became the first Indian company to establish itself in the resource-rich regions of the world. The company has invested nine billion of its own funds/equity in Australian operations to date. Before Adani, the Chinese had purchased a majority of Australia's natural resources, including coal. With Adani's entry, the dominance of China in the region seems to be coming to an end. In 2020, a Chinese coal giant with anchor mines in Australia produced 20 times more than Adani in Australian production. This accounted for 40% of total exports. In conclusion, it seems clear that a network is working to target Adani and his business empire, trying to tarnish his reputation.
