Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to take swift action to establish a board for the Yadadri Temple, similar to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). He also suggested several changes to the draft plan for the formation of a Board of Trustees. The CM conducted a review meeting at his residence on Wednesday to discuss the rules for the board's appointment.
The CM emphasized the importance of ensuring that political influence does not affect the Yadadri temple area, just like the Tirumala temple, and instructed that necessary precautions be taken to maintain the sanctity of the temple. He suggested changes to the draft rules related to the appointment of the Board of Trustees, as well as the spiritual and service activities that need to be conducted on behalf of the temple. The review meeting was attended by several officials, including State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and the Secretary of the Endowments Department, Shailaja Ramaiyer.
If a special board similar to TTD is formed for Yadadri, the temple's structure and administration will undergo significant changes. The government will not interfere in the temple’s development. Funds for the temple will be utilized for developmental work through donations and offerings. In addition to the development of the main Yadadri temple, the board will also oversee the development of associated temples without relying on government funding. The initiative will also provide better facilities for devotees, including daily food offerings (Anna Prasadam) and other services. Read more on Telangana news.
